Animals with Tattoos
April 27th 2010 14:19
Today I stumbled upon something quite disturbing: animal tattoos. I’m a tattoo fan AND an animal fan, but somehow, I don’t think animals and tattoos should go hand in hand. Where’s PETA when you need them, right? My first discovered offence started with a hairless sphinx cat named Mickey who has King Tutankhamen tattooed on his chest. Owner Oksana Popova lives in Russia where animal tattoos are a new trend. Her reason for tattooing her cat? "I wanted something new and different for the times we live in.” Another reason for tattooing Mickey? She would like to be able to identify him if he got lost. Somehow, I think that’s a bunch of BS. She did it for attention!
So we move on from the tattooed cat to tattooed fish. WTF people? How do you tattoo a fish? Sources say a low intensity laser is used to place dye under the fish’s skin.
Dogs with tattoos?
Pigs with tattoos?
